Like any other city in India, Mangalore is also growing rapidly. As the city is growing large scale infrastructure projects are changing the landscape of Mangalore city. The small shops and houses are giving its way to large shopping complexes and Multi storied apartments.
The landscape of Mangalore in my childhood days was like the first picture, lush green and tiled houses. There were hardly a few big buildings and the city was less crowded.
But today when you see Mangalore from above, you can see a lot of high rises buildings. The green landscape is slowly getting converted into concrete jungles.
I hope we save a bit of greenery for our future generations.

Survival of the Igonred
Many would have heard about 'Survival of the Fittest' but here's something different, its the 'Survival of the Ignored'. HMT Tractors is a public sector company which has been selling tractors in India since 1971. The first 25 HP tractor was manufactured in collaboration with Motokov of erstwhile Czekoslovakia. HMT Tractor has its manufacturing plant in Pinjore in the state of Haryana. Coming back to the topic, most of you would know how Government of India ignored HMT Companies to help private sector. HMT Tractors though ignored by the Government has been facing still competition both from Indian Tractor manufactures and International Tractor manufactures in the Indian Market. But it is still amazing to see that people still love to buy HMT Tractors due to its reliability. In Cities most of us forget old brands and pass on to new brands. But in rural India, the old legends of still linger and people's trust on brand hold high. Though Ignored by all, HMT tractors still keep selling in small numbers due to people's choice. I wish someone wakes up and save the HMT Tractor which brought farm mechanization to Indain Agriculture.
The New ear of Marketing
A few days back found this unusal bus from Ponds passing Bangalore. It just made me to realize how Marketing is getting changed. From Newspaper and Telivision Ads to acutal product experience. These days more and more FMCG companies are trying out Customer experience model to get real time feedback and educate customers. This concept builds brand value and helps in spreading word of mouth.
BMTC Eco Friendly Buses
A few days ago BMTC launched ECO Friendly buses in Bangalore. These new Euro IV norm buses are stylish and has been well designed. The bus has been built by KMS Coaches Bangalore on Tata Chassis. Its good to these new vibrant red and blue buses plying in Bangalore roads. These Semi low floor buses have good light and ventilation.
Mahindra Earth Master
Found a Mahindra Earth Master in Bangalore a few days back for the first time. The backhoe loader market is getting hotter with more and more companies trying to grab the opportunity of construction boom in the country. And Mahindra seems to be entering every segment of Automobile Industry. Today Mahindra is present in almost every category ranging from Two wheelers to Multi Axle Trucks.
Mahindra Earth Master has a good fit and finish. And like any other Mahindra vehicle, the Earth Master looks solid built.
The Rebirth of My Blog..
A year ago I moved some of my posts to My full fledged website www.yeshwanthlive.com after which,My Blog Kadri007 has been out of action for more than a year.
My website has become popular over a period of time and covers a lot of topics on Automobiles and Travel. But it was getting difficult to post smaller events in my website, since posting small time events on a full page was not worthy. Hence at last decided to Re-start My blogging again in Blogger. Today December 15th 2011 will be the formal Re-birth date of My Blog 'Kadri007'.
'Kadri007' will be a mini blog which will cover small time events, news, etc. 'Kadri007' blog would be a place where My daily experiences and encounters are shared. Hope you guys enjoy reading it.
